Be original! Looking for one-of-a-kind snowman crafts not everyone else is making? This Round-up of five craft tutorials brings holly jolly fun as homemade decor. If you’re a crafter, here’s something “different” to sell at Christmas Bazaars.
Additionally, each snowman craft can be customized with your own personal creative touches. Play around with different facial expressions, color combinations and materials so they don’t all look the same. And, if you’re giving one as a gift, just decorate it with the recipient in mind!
1. Globe Snowman
A dapper Mr. Snowman is the life of the party at your holiday gatherings. A one-of-a-kind snowman crafts that’ll make a great centerpiece. Save money by collecting things to put inside from the thrift store. (or odds and ends you already have at home!)
2. Golf Ball Tree Ornament
Even if you don’t have a golfer in the family, these tree ornaments are so cute. Golf balls are generally available at “play it again” used sporting goods stores. Use orange modeling clay from the craft store to form the “carrot” nose, and bake firm.
3. Dinner Plate Snowman
Bring on the smiles with this unique decoration for the front porch. Three white plates on a stake, a hat and scarf (blue for a boy, pink for a girl) shows off your sense of whimsy.
4. Hang it up on a wall!
Here’s another creative way to use plates. Look for holiday plates at the thrift store. Or decorate your own. Use adhesive to glue plates to a strip of ceramic tile with hole drilled (or D-ring) for hanging. Add a scarf, hat, fork and spoon. Ready to hang!
5. Easy Pallet Snowman
What makes this pallet craft especially easy is that you paint up a pallet “as is”. No prying boards apart or nailing strips of pallet wood together. Use scrap wood to make a hat and the “carrot” nose. Best Frosty around!

Seasonal Inspiration: A special reflection on the holidays I wrote for fellow blogger Rachael Bomsta of “Healing Home”. In it, I share a little bit about my tiny home and rural lifestyle. There’s nothing wrong with wanting things. It’s easy to splurge in the festive mood of the season: Food. Entertaining. Decking the halls. But have we lost the whole point of Christmas?
