Tis the season to be Jolly. And Oh, what fun it is to transform an ordinary wine bottle into winsome Christmas decor. It also happens to be the perfect craft for the busiest time of the year. For something stylish that is also quick and easy<\/em>, you can’t go wrong with these simple ways to decorate a wine bottle that puts your creativity on display! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Depending on what materials you use to decorate your bottles, they’ll compliment any holiday look from formal to farmhouse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Use these decorative wine bottle ideas for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Where to find wine bottles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you don’t have bottles at home, perhaps you have a recycling or glass recycling center in your community. Sometimes you can find bottles on Facebook Market Place or possibly at your local thrift store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n TIP: SAVE $$$<\/strong> For the bottles shown in this article, I found beautiful fabric, buttons, ribbon, ornaments etc. for pennies at my local thrift store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Paint a wintry design on wine bottles. OR use stencils. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Quick stick-ons: Holiday stickers\/decals or window jels <\/p>\n\n\n\n Many different looks are possible to match your Holiday theme. Here are some more ideas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fortunately, most bottles are made of green glass which is perfect for the holidays! <\/p>\n\n\n\n To decorate lighted bottles, a simple accent such as ribbon, bow, small ornament, sticker or a touch of that spray-on snow along the bottom is enough to make a plain bottle elegant. Don’t over-do it. Wine bottle glass is thick and you absolutely can have confidence that it will not break if you use the right tools and procedures. I have personally done this myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You’ll need a 1\/2″ diamond-tip hole-saw<\/strong>, which is a circular cutting tool that attaches into your cordless drill.
